Linc Facility Services, an ABM company, has an immediate opening for a HVAC Technician and/or Electrician at the HP Data Center. FUNCTION Provides support to area supervisor in performance of preventive maintenance and repairs to the customer s equipment as required as to insure optimal customer relations in data centers and/or critical services environments. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The responsibilities of the HVAC Technician include, but are not limited to, the following: Responds in a professional, polite and helpful manner when interacting with customer. Perform corrective work orders to meet the customers requirements Perform and completes assigned preventive maintenance work responsibilities to maintain required company work schedule. Assistother maintenance mechanic personnel with repair and maintenance of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other equipment, including computer room air conditioning (CRAC) systems, other systems or structure. Develops above level skill in at least one of the above general building trades. Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities are performed in a neat workmanship like manner. Inventories, requisitions materials, tools and supplies needed for each job. Monitors and communicates to management any information affecting customer relations with contract. Ensure that all Linc and customer work rules are followed. Maintains all required company logs and reports is completed correctly and submitted by all assigned personnel in a neat, organized and timely fashion. Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years experience, or accredited trade school certificate in building maintenance or repairs. Journeyman s license or possesses required federal, state and local licenses. Minimum of 3 years general building maintenance work. Valid driver s license and excellent driving record required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of methods, practices and techniques of building maintenance. Knowledge of the equipment, tools, and materials used in general building maintenance. Ability to keep simple records of activities performed. Ability to read and understand simple blueprints. Analytical/Interpersonal Skills: Well organized, hard worker, team player Strong Analytical experience Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills in a fast paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and others Ability to work independently.
