Adayana Government Group is seeking a LMS Technical Specialist to join our team onsite in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-starting individual with a keen technical mind for supporting the operations of a PLATEAU LMS instance for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). This individual will work onsite at OCC as part of a dual focused team that supports the client in both the technical operations of their PLATEAU instance as well as providing consultation on the best use of this application within their business environment. Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently. Experience working with PLATEAU LMS is required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Provide application and administrative support to the OCC TLMS project manager/system administrator.
* Collaborate with OCC CE, HR Connect Program Management Office, and TLMS Host Provider to identify and resolve technical issues related to TLMS.
* Provide Tier 2 TLMS Help Desk support for OCC users, notably in the area of potential JAVA and scripting interactions.
Collaborate with other CE staff responsible for TLMS administration and provide support and Perform tasks associated with TLMS, i.e., help analyze current needs and model an approach/process for conducting business process re-engineering and configuration management for new functionality, as appropriate. Provide the technical and analytical expertise to research, draft, and maintain documentation involved in conducting an evaluation/analysis of the AS-IS and TO-BE process models of CE s business processes for planning, conducting, and executing the key functional areas relating to training administration and eTraining development, deployment and tracking.
* Provide assistance with supporting (external) TLMS applications, i.e., contractor feeds, datamart feeds, HR Connect feeds, etc.
* Assist with technical/functional requirements translation, analysis, and clarification (i.e., for HR Connect/vendor change requests). .
* Perform comprehensive user acceptance testing and quality assurance application testing when errors are detected and when new functionality is implemented.
* Work with OCC Instructional Designers and vendors to integrate existing and newly developed courseware into TLMS applications. Assist in OCC s pilot testing of custom-developed courseware delivered via TLMS.
o Facilitate the integration of Section 508 compliant and AICC or SCORM-based third-party custom and/or commercial off-the-shelf courseware.
o Help establish guidelines for the development and deployment of customized training, particularly mandatory training, and serve as technical resource to CE.
* Assist in standardization of data output for OPM reporting compliance (via the EHRI data output process).
* Provide TLMS support to CE staff to enable them to use the current and future functionality efficiently, effectively, and correctly.
* Learn new applications/functionality and then provide training to system users.
* Assist in the development of documentation and job aids for training purposes. Provide consultation, mentoring, and instruction to functional area users on:
* System use.
* Access to and analyses of CE data (including TLMS and CE Data Mart) to ensure users are able to obtain, understand, and use data to effectively perform jobs.
* Perform administrative tasks as required.
o Develop queries and reports using Business Objects and CE Data Mart, as well as develop and generate custom reports in the Plateau environment, particularly for mandatory training.
* Assist with data mapping activities as necessary (TLMS to CE data mart).
Job Requirements :
Must be U.S. citizen
Must be able to obtain appropriate federal government security clearance
Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience in relevant business required
Minimum 2 years experience working with PLATEAU LMS
Experience deploying content within PLATEAU LMS
Experience testing and troubleshooting content deployed within PLATEAU LMS
Experience with Plateau configuration management, reporting, XHTML/XML configuration support
Experience supporting Articulate and Captivate content
Excellent customer service skills
Solid written and verbal communication skills required
Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of SCORM, AICC, and JAVA
Knowledge of ADA Section 508 Compliance
Knowledge of Business Objects is desirable, but not required
