Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Essential Duties & Responsibilities: JOB SUMMARY Applies advanced technical skills and knowledge of technical procedures and techniques related to the design, development and administration of websites and web applications. Work assignments require the use of experience and judgment to determine appropriate action selected from established alternatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Duties and responsibilities which occupy a major portion of time and importance in the job. Incumbent may perform one or more of the following duties.)
a. Plans and accomplishes a complete range of assignments and tasks that are varied and moderately complex related to the design, development, and administration of websites and web applications.
b. Conceptualizes, creates, and develops visually aesthetic graphics as a part of website development.
c. Creates user interface to new or existing databases for user accessibility utilizing various graphical software and technologies to transform graphical concepts into web pages.
d. Creates and maintains websites in accordance with OSD Policy, coordinating website development in line with required security practices and procedures, also will work with Public Affairs as required for public facing websites.
e. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

- Education/Experience
Experience in HTML, COLDFUSION, Microsoft IIS, SharePoint, and Web-based Technologies.
Desired / PLUS: SharePoint knowledge or experience. Web interfaces to databases.
- SharePoint Training may be required after hired.
- Skills/Certifications/Training Must be creative and innovative in developing and maintaining websites. Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Level of Security Clearance - Secret or higher.
Preferred Skills & Certifications: SharePoint exp./ acknowledged desired.
