Job Description:

The EbixExchange AnnuityNet project manager, as a member of the Client Integration Services team, provides full lifecycle support to EbixExchange s AnnuityNet customers. The project manager maintains a high degree of interaction with customers and is the key contact for daily operations personnel at each company.
The project manager works with clients at all levels, from individual contributors to senior management, and is the client champion to internal departments and advocates EbixExchange s policies and positions to the customer.
The project manager is regularly involved in managing and developing effective working client relationships. This position takes responsibility for understanding and meeting client's requirements; seeks, interprets and responds to client feedback and contributes to developing standards and feedback methods; manages client expectations and deals effectively with conflict situations.
This position is with our EbixExchange, AnnuityNet division based in Herndon, Virginia. No relocation package provided.

Essential Job Functions
* Responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of the project implementation
* Develops project-specific deliverables to enable successful implementation
* Manages and track business prioritization, deployment, support and billing via Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Microsoft SharePoint
* Manages projects that require cross-team and cross-functional coordination
* Identify and assist clients in necessary preparations for all project pre and post launch requirements
* Issue/Risk tracking and resolution
* Manages communications internally and externally to affected parties
* Simultaneously handles multiple clients and relevant projects
* Trains clients on use of system and other services, may assist with developing training materials
* Supports clients with their testing of change requests and platform enhancements including investigating and resolving issues that arise during testing
* Responds in a timely manner to clients questions about their platform via emails and telephone calls
* Provides regular status reports to major accounts, and to any customer that has open, unresolved issues or questions
* Assists with the investigation and resolution of production issues
* Manages the build, configuration, testing, and deployment of a new distributor client s platform. The project manager champions the customer s implementation internally to product development, sales, business solutions engineer, development, QA, and Production Support. Specific responsibilities for the project manager of a new implementation are:
* Direct and manage all aspects of client integration and automation of annuity products on AnnuityNet
* Lead new client presentations and demonstrations
* Coordinate new client requirements and design sessions with business solutions engineer, development or IT or product development, as needed, and client
* Capture open items / action items from requirements and design sessions for internal resources and client, communicate items to applicable parties, and follow-up to ensure timely completion
* Maintain project action items and issue log management
* Finalize and distribute distributor implementation plan (for distributor implementation) or carrier implementation plan (for carrier implementation) and all software requirements specifications to client for review/approval
* Distribute any supplemental project materials to client
* Determine client field rollout strategy and project implementation timeline
* Train clients and users on their version of AnnuityNet

Job Requirements
* 4 year college degree or equivalent amount of experience required
* Excellent communication, interpersonal relationship, and team leadership skills
* Customer-focused, relationship-driven attitude
* Well defined critical thinking, analytical, problem solving, and organization skills
* Ability to use common sense and good judgment to anticipate and identify issues and recommend workable solutions
* Able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
* Must have strong aptitudes to learn new technical skills
* Experience with Web-based software as a service (SaaS) applications a plus
* Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus
* Working knowledge of XML a plus
* ACORD XML, PPfA (Product Profile for Annuities), DTCC/NSCC file formats knowledge a plus
* Ability to travel on occasion
