Senior Backend Testers with strong SQL and 5+ years experience

ATSC is looking for Senior Backend Testers with heavy SQL, UNIX, Test Process, and Presentation Skills.

Responsibilities:

* Understand business requirements and develop test cases.
* Create and execute the functional scenarios for a test effort.
* Work with development, Business, QA, and Automation engineers to determine root cause of batch job execution problems.
* Must have excellent problem solving skills and be capable of breaking down complex situations to discover and resolve root causes, this applies to both Testing issues and Technical issues.
* Provide metrics and project planning updates for the testing effort.

Experience Required:

* Heavy SQL experience
* Strong Analytical skills
* Strong Testing process background.
* Basic Unix (need to be able to find log files, move log files, understand permissions and how they are applied within the Unix space).
* Dissecting business requirements into various testing scenarios.
* Creating and executing Test Cases.
* Due to nature of the work flexibility to move between different sub teams is a must.
* Solid communication skills (speak clearly, communicate testing processes, etc.)
* Must have really strong presentation skills.
* Need to be able to code SQL and do it in the interview
* Path analysis knowledge is desired
* Experience with Quality Center is desired
* Finance Industry or Secondary Mortgage Industry experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications (Must-Have Skills):

* Experience of at least 5 years back-end SQL testing.
* At least 5 years of Experience with UNIX, SQL, batch processing.
* Flexibility to move quickly from one assignment to another.
* Familiarity with Doors, Clear Quest and Clear Case is nice to have.
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
* Excellent teaming skills.
