Description

Candidate will provide Tier 1 support for the Security Operations Center by monitoring security indicators from multiple sources on a 24x7 basis. Duties include constant all source monitoring, phone hot line response, security mailbox response, alert management and response, advisory monitoring, etc. Main responsibilities also include performing investigative data analysis utilizing AT&Ts Threat Management Platform, tools, and database queries. The identification, research and reporting on security trends and anomalies is also critical.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

* Strong TCP/IP background
* Leadership skills in a time sensitive environment
* Network monitoring capabilities, data analysis, strategic thinker, enabling trouble isolation and resolution
* Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
* Willingness to own issues until problems are resolved
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* In-depth understanding of network protocols
* If candidate does not currently have an active security clearance, must be willing to participate in the process to obtain a clearnance

Desired Skills:

* Familiar with wide range of Network Logs and their interpretations
* Active Security Clearance and CISSP certification is desired
