Junior Contract Specialist

Washington, DC

Clearance required:

Junior Contract Specialist. The Contractor personnel in the Junior Contract Specialist positions shall possess a minimum of one year experience with the preparation of solicitation and award documents for a variety of supplies and services. This includes, but is not limited to, performing the following with support:

      a. Reviewing acquisitions and determines the appropriate method of procurement.

      b. Determining adequacy of procurement package.

      c. Selecting appropriate contract provisions, clauses, and terms and conditions.

      d. Preparing price reasonableness determinations.

      e. Preparing all supporting contract file documentation as needs, such as, contract type determination, justifications for other than full and open competition, contractor responsibility determinations, etc.

In addition to the above, Contractor personnel in this labor category shall perform administrative support tasks as assigned by the Senior Procurement Executive, Head of the Contracting Activity, and/or the Contracting Officer.

The contractor shall perform primarily within the Government facilities located in Washington, DC.
