    CAMRIS International seeks to fill a number of positions for an anticipated USAID Education Support Initiative Activity. These positions are to be based in Washington, DC and is contingent upon award. The purpose of this contract is to establish an award for provision of non-direct hire education support services to E3/ED. In order to administer USAID’s robust education strategy, among other things, E3/ED must use non-direct hire staffing mechanisms to supplement its direct-hire staff (i.e., federal civilian employees that are appointed under Civil Service and Foreign Service authorities). ESI consultants and staff could be required to work short-term or long-term for the E3 Bureau, other Washington bureaus and operating units (e.g. The Global Development Lab; PPL; and regional bureaus), and in USAID Missions overseas.

    Responsibilities

    Consultant services to be provided under this contract include, but are not limited to support for the following:

    • Education Strategy development and program planning
    • Design and implementation support
    • Monitoring and evaluation of education programs
    • Preparation for training and skills-building workshops
    • Analysis of education trends, data and policies
    • Knowledge Management and Communications
    • Global Education partnership development and stakeholder engagement
    • Technical Support and Training
    • General administrative responsibilities

    Candidates should have technical experience in one or more of the following disciplines:

    • Basic Education
    • Early Grade Reading
    • Higher Education
    • Youth
    • Workforce Development
    • Education in conflict setting

    • Education Program Specialist (Higher Education / Workforce Development)
    • Education Program Specialist (Basic Education in Conflict/Crisis)
    • Education Program Specialist (Basic Education Learning)
    • Education Knowledge Management and Learning Specialist

    • Senior Education Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
    • Education Partnerships Specialist
    • Senior Education Evidence Officer

    • Senior Education Officer (Basic Education Learning)

    Qualifications

    • Master’s Degree and 5-12 years of experience in one or more of the technical education disciplines relevant to the activities described above.
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to apply
    • Security Clearance Highly desirable
