We are currently performing a search for a Director of Human Resources for a fast growing start-up technology company in Washington, DC. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who enjoys working in a collaborative dynamic environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contribute to the company’s vision and strategy on key topics that will directly shape our people and culture while we are scaling and beyond;
  • Develop and own the recruitment process to find and hire the best talent;
  • Create a highly regarded onboarding program that fully integrates new hires into the company from day one;
  • Coach employees at all levels, building trust and rapport to provide support based on individual and organizational needs;
  • Create and identify opportunities to enable individual and organizational growth through learning, development, and training opportunities;
  • Oversee performance reviews process for both managers and employees across the company;
  • Create a culture of accountability and help develop company and team OKRs;
  • Make recommendations for how our teams should be structured as we grow and scale;
  • Review, recommend, and develop employee compensation and benefits packages;
  • Be a culture leader and find new and unexpected ways to reinforce our company culture;
  • Manage, maintain, and improve our people-related systems and compliance.
    REQUIREMENTS
  • 5-8+ years of People Operations/Human Resources experience with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory / management role;
  • Impeccable judgment and discretion;
  • Experience working at a fast paced start-up, and ability to see the next iteration of the company before it has started;
  • Ability to balance process with agility and change;
  • Knowledge of local and federal employment law, regulations, and compliance;
  • Experience using People Operations/Human Resource tools.
