Sr. Legal Counsel, Healthcare/Pharmacy (WFH/Telecommute-flexible loc)

Would you like to join Fortune 7 CVS Health’s dynamic Legal team? We are looking for a health care attorney with expertise in and a deep understanding of administrative regulatory structure and state and federal pharmacy laws and rules.
In this role, you will be providing regulatory and strategic legal counsel to operational business partners with respect to pharmacy regulations and laws on a wide variety of matters. You will work with the CVS Transformation team to counsel them on general pharmacy and pharmacy law matters. You will gain experience working with a dynamic in-house legal department and playing a key role in our pharmacy practice and other business areas.
You will develop and foster internal client relationships at CVS Health, review and analyze pharmacy regulatory research and provide guidance to internal clients on various programs. As part of the Regulatory Affairs team, you will collaborate with other team members on communications with Boards of Pharmacy.
-Minimum 6 years experience giving counsel/advice on Federal and State Controlled Substance Regulatory matters
-Minimum 8 years Pharmacy support experience in a large corporate health care setting
-Minimum 5 years Board of Pharmacy experience
-Admitted to practice law in at least one state and in good standing with applicable bar association(s)
-Travel up to 15% of the time
-Minimum of 8 years of law firm or in house counsel experience
Deep knowledge of pharmacy operations
Familiarity with administrative/regulatory law
Understanding of long term care pharmacy practice
Understanding of home infusion pharmacy practice
Understanding of Specialty and Mail pharmacy practice
-Pharmacy degree preferred and Juris doctorate required
