iSystems Development is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic for our newly awarded mechanical operations and maintenance services contract at JBAB Joint Base Anacostia Bolling.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform all the essential duties of the position satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check. May be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance, including successfully completing a thorough background investigation. For positions requiring use of a Company and/or Customer vehicle, must have a safe driving record within the past 36 months, as defined by Company policy.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE: Must have a minimum of ten (10) years' experience and/or formal vocational/technical training. Each complete year of accredited college education in a related field may be substituted for the equivalent number of years of required experience. Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.

CLEARANCE: Applicant must have and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance (TS/YW). 

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATIONS: Must maintain required city/county/state license(s) and/or certification(s), where applicable. Required to maintain a valid state driver's license.

MODIFICATION CLAUSE: Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the duties listed in the Service Contract Act Directory of Occupations ( and/or in the Government contract between the applicable Customer and iSystems. Minimum qualifications may be uniquely specified in the Government contract between the applicable Customer and iSystems, at which time, the greater of the Company-wide job specifications or the contract determined qualifications will prevail. Unique job requirements will be identified through the job posting/advertising process.
