Seeking video editor with at least one year of experience with Adobe Premiere to create compelling video content for nonprofit organization working to save and improve human and animal lives through plant-based diets and ethical and effective scientific research. This is a part-time (2 days/week) opportunity expected to be 6 months in duration.

About Communications Team
The Physicians Committee's Communications team works to maximize publicity for our campaigns, programs, and research studies through traditional and social media. The team oversees all media relations, social media, videos, advertising, digital marketing, and website management for the organization.
About this Consulting Opportunity
The video editor will work with our video production manager to create compelling video content for our social media platforms. Specific duties include logging and editing footage.
This is a part-time (2 days/week) and temporary opportunity (approximately 6 months in duration). The video editor will work at the Physicians Committee's headquarters in Washington, D.C. (Friendship Heights on Metro's Red Line)
Who We're Looking For
Candidates must have experience with Adobe Premiere. We are looking for a team player with a good understanding of the technology pertaining to video formats, codecs, editing and visual effects and final deliverables. If you have at least 1 year of video editing experience, work well with deadlines, are self-motivated and innovative in solving problems, collaborate well with creative and non-creative types, and are passionate about the Physicians Committee's mission, we'd like to hear from you. Knowledge of and experience with Photoshop and After Effects is a plus.
