We have an opening for a talented Sales Engineer to support our Cloud & Digital Infrastructure market sub-segment (CDI MSS). The CDI MSS delivers full-lifecycle IT services from architecture through operations, supporting multiple infrastructure constructs inclusive of traditional data center to multi-cloud, with strong capabilities in strategy, engineering, architecture, and operations. We offer numerous advanced repeatable solutions in software-defined data center technologies, network and storage infrastructure, cloud integration, High Performance Computing (HPC), and digital transformation services.
Position is 100% telework, preferred location is NOVA/DC, but not required. Additional travel will be required if located out of the NOVA/DC area.
Job Duties:
  • Function as the expert on the reseller programs and capabilities across our full MSS partner portfolio, including but not limited to Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Red Hat, AWS, and ServiceNow
  • Develop strategies and tactical execution plans to expand our sales of partner products and services, develop new white-label offerings, and to differentiate jointly with our partners 
  • Educate the broader SAIC community on our partner capabilities and how to sell them organically and through the bid process
  • Develop and maintain proposal language, customer impact stories, playbooks, and other support materials to drive partner use in bids
  • Recommend, coordinate, manage, and attend partner conferences and other event sponsorships as the face of the MSS
  • Track and maintain partner pipeline across the Alliance Partner portfolio in the MSS
  • Report on partner-specific metrics associated with innovation, pipeline, sales, and use
  • Evangelize our partner technologies and joint solutions across the company

Required Experience and Education:

Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience. Additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience reselling OEM  (Original Equipment Manufacturer) solutions from at least two of the following partners: Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Red Hat, AWS, and ServiceNow
  • Partner Management experience
  • US citizen
Desired Experience:
  • Sale carts or tech carts, including but not limited to Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Red Hat, AWS, and ServiceNow
Position will be measured for success on partner use in bids, new solutions/capabilities that include partner technologies, 'client zero' (internal) use of partner technologies, reseller/white-label sales, additional partner certifications & competencies, and most importantly deal wins that include partner solutions including organic expansion on existing programs.
