Program Support Coordinator

Position Description:  Oversees all resident affair and administrative aspects of Kuehner House, SOME's Senior Building. This position will ensure residents adhere to established guidelines for community living, issue notices for guidelines violations, and follow up with legal team and senior leadership for follow through. This position will be the primary point of contact for resident concerns such as work order submission assistance, advocacy regarding property management concerns, and backfilling vacancies. The Program Support Specialist will facilitate all community meeting, schedule wellness program in conjunction with the SOME Senior Center, and support other Senior Services programs as it relates to resident matters. 

Required Qualifications: HS/GED; 3-5yrs. Resident affairs and/or property management experience; previous supervisory experience.  Familiar with aging and disability issues as it relates to aging in place.

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree; 5-7yrs.  Resident affairs and/or Property Management experience; 2+yrs. previous supervisory experience, experience providing services to the elderly and understanding of issues related to aging in place.

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 9:30 - 6pm

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:          

  • Knowledge of property management, resident affairs and social services system
  • Problem solving skill 
  • Organized with an attention to detail
  • Project Management skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task despite competing priorities

Program Operations: 

  • Manage daily operations of residents affairs
  • Interview and assess candidates for housing
  • Coordinate resident move-in and move-out with Property Management
  • Follow up with Property Management on failed housing inspections and assist residents with mitigating issues
  • Facilitate community house meetings
  • Order supplies and act as a liaison with various social service vendors
