The Trump International Hotel Washington DC, opened in September 2016,   is a Forbes’ Five Star Award winning hotel property. Our establishment tells a unique story, guided by the classic features of the Old Post Office building, the associates’ and experiences that compel this Five Star team.  The hotel is searching for an Accounts Receivables Coordinator to join our Five Star Team!

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for processing all payments made to the hotel in accordance with hotel accounting standards. Reconcile daily statements and month-end balancing of receivables. Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests. Maintain all A/R records, including current and paid accounts and monthly reports. Maintain knowledge of hotel credit policy. Review daily high balance report and ensure any over limit credit issues are resolved. Prepare, review, and promptly send out all invoices. Maintain detailed files on accounts. Maintain current aging through regular collection calls and follow up. Prepare commission payments for Group Commissions and submit to A/P for processing. Handle returned checks. Perform credit checks on clients requesting direct billing per credit policy. Print designated reports and distribute as specified by Credit Manager. Handle disputed charges by guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
Prioritize and organize.
Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
Follow directions thoroughly.
Understand guests service needs.
Previous Front Office experience preferred.
Previous Luxury / Hotel experience preferred.

Essential:

1. Minimum 2 years Accounting/Finance or related experience/education

2. Minimum - High school graduate.

3.  Compute accurate mathematical calculations.

4. Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally
