The Trump International Hotel Washington DC is seeking an Overnight Cook  with  passion, drive and enthusiasm. This is an important position for the hotel and requires one with the natural drive to succeed in their position.

This Overnight Cook position will primarily support In Room Dining Culinary and will report to the Outlet Chef. This role will plan, prep, set up and provide quality culinary service in areas of the Food & Beverage production to include, but not limited to all menu items supplied by the In Room Dining kitchen and the Benjamin Bar and Lounge; displays and presentations of all items designated by the Sous Chef for service. All mise en place completed to the satisfaction of Supervisor and/or Sous Chef.

This position is expected to follow established recipe and plating guides to exact specification.  Maintain and organize their station with equipment in a neat and orderly fashion to meet the Chef’s expectations.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Ability and availability to work overnight
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in culinary field preferably in a hotel setting
  • Ability to communicate in English with guests, associates and management 
  • Food Handlers Certificate preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time
