The Mobile Health Driver will provide administrative assistance to the Mobile Health Staff in registering and directing clients. In addition, this position is responsible for driving the Mobile Health van to and from the designated areas and assisting in the maintenance of the vehicle. The role requires driving a medium “U-Haul” size van to various locations in the district. The Mobile Health team consists of Medical Providers and Health Educators. The right candidate must be flexible (long days, not typical 9-5 hours, and available nights and weekends), have excellent communication skills, and have at least a minimal understanding of basic vehicle maintenance.
Primary Essential Duties
Drives the mobile health van to and from the designated areas, complying with all motor vehicle codes and regulations.
Assists in maintaining the mobile health van by overseeing preventative maintenance functions, including performing daily/weekly/monthly vehicle checks.
Provides cleaning of the vehicle as directed, including interior and exterior.
Reports minor mechanical preventative maintenance needs to Mobile Heath Supervisor.
Prepares the mobile van to receive patients and visitors.
Provides outreach services as necessary for the smooth operation of the mobile health van.
Reports any problem to Mobile Heath Supervisor and recommends plans of action to address.
Supervises use of mobile health van at health fairs and during parades during evenings and weekends, as assigned.
Maintaining a strict inventory of items on the mobile health van
Adheres to all HIPPA regulations
Responsibilities include other duties as assigned, including special tasks related to responding to CH departmental tasks.

Flexibility of schedule - shifts include evening and occasional weekend hours.
A 20-hour work week is a general requirement, with a flexibility of schedule – shifts may sometimes include
evening and occasional weekend hours. Some early morning and late evening coverage may be required
depending on scheduling requirements. This position will require significant time in the field with some
coverage requirements at other WWH locations.

Education and Experience Required
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid Driving License required
Excellent Driving Record is required
Evening availability/schedule flexibility a must.

Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks.
Excellent attention to detail.
Individual may be required to work evenings and/or weekends and be available to staff events outside of the
Lifting: No more than 20 lbs. and infrequently.
Movement: Standing and sitting for long periods.
Visual: Long periods on computer.
Concentration: Extended periods of engagement with computer systems where concentration is key to
accuracy in data entry. Intermittent periods of engagement with a telephone system to respond to
inquiries where concentration is key to task performance.
Communication: Direct and indirect communication. Written and verbal competency.
Driving: Will involve driving the Mobile Testing Unit. A valid driver's license without accidents and
speeding tickets is required.
